This was taken at Monument Rocks in western Kansas.  These remote chalk formations rise up strangely out of the Kansas plains.  If you ever find yourself driving across western Kansas or eastern Colorado, it’s definitely worth taking a side trip.  Bring a trash bag with you and be prepared to do a little clean up before shooting.  Apparently this is a popular spot for teenagers to party.
